This collaborative project with a tattoo artist @mukyeon_tattoo explores the deep connection between tattoos and fashion, showcasing how body art transcends being a mere style statement. The collection delves into the cultural, symbolic, and lifestyle influences of tattoos, blending them seamlessly into contemporary fashion design.
As the lead fashion designer, I conceptualized and developed garments inspired by tattoo motifs, infusing their intricate artistry and meanings into wearable pieces. Hand illustrations were crafted to capture the essence of the designs, and CLO 3D was used to render the sketches into dynamic 3D visuals, bringing the concepts to life.
The project targets tattoo and fashion enthusiasts, aiming to celebrate the artistry and narrative of tattoos while redefining their role in modern style.
This endeavor not only bridged two creative disciplines but also highlighted the cultural significance and individuality embodied in tattoos, turning them into a powerful expression of personal and artistic identity in fashion.
